Overview
‘life’s a beach’ captures the essence of carefree summer days and the highs and lows of the easy-going coastal lifestyle. It’s laid-back, stylish, breezy, and everything in between. Hard Life did a fantastic job of blending elements of Surf Rock, Indie Pop, and nostalgic melodies to create an album that is both timeless and contemporary. You won’t find many tunes here that are unlistenable, and it explores interesting themes of escapism and longing for that ‘easy life’. If you’re looking for an effortlessly chilled yet almost danceable sing-along record, this is the one for you.
Recommended for people looking to escape the hard life and opt for an easy-going record.

The album cover couldn’t have matched the energy of the album more - it reflects the highs and lows of the coastal ‘easy life’ lifestyle that the music exudes. Although the band had to change their name from ‘easy life’ to ‘hard life,’ the number plate displaying the band’s name was a nice creative touch.
