Overview
This. Album. Is. Everything. Without a doubt, this is one of the best albums of all time, and that is not said lightly. It’s hard to find an album where every song could easily be a single, but ‘Nevermind’ certainly delivers that here - each song is completely iconic. Dave Grohl’s arrival in the band did absolute wonders for Nirvana, and they produced an album that broke down the boundaries of Grunge music, bringing it into the mainstream - something that certainly deserves high praise. One great thing about Nirvana is that they never hid from who they really were, and the hidden track at the end of the album shows this perfectly - producing a perfect record that ends in pure chaos. The band simply didn’t care what anyone truly thought about them, and despite ‘Nevermind’ being one of the best albums of all time, I doubt the band could have cared less at the time; they were just in it for the music, and it absolutely shows here.
Recommended for anybody with taste and appreciation for a record that can make a generation fall in love with a new genre of music.
