Overview
An absolute modern classic rock album. Josh Homme and the fresh Queens lineup are at the top of their game, and I think a lot of this is helped by Dave Grohl’s appearance on the record. He completely makes the drum parts his own with countless iconic beats and fills. It’s a fairly dark record with moments of madness that make the album stand out in the best way possible - instantly timeless. The concept of the radio playing throughout a desert drive runs through the album, with a mix of weird hosts taking you on a Mojave trip. It’s a radio station you’re not likely to switch from. If you’re not into heavier music, it might overwhelm you at first, but it doesn’t matter - this is an album I believe everyone needs to hear and will fall in love with.
Recommended for mosh pit lovers searching for a 150mph desert drive.

Sometimes simplicity is key, and it absolutely works here. The deep red background, paired with the devilish pitchfork at the forefront of the album, creates a striking image, and the matching font for the title and artist name is perfect.
