Overview
The opener to Atlas definitely leaves you with high expectations for the remainder of the 12-track album, and it delivers. This is club-holiday in the sun vibes done right. I did find a somewhat repetitive aspect with this debut album, but I still enjoyed throughout my listen and I think the album sets up the foundations to RÜFÜS DU SOL’s catalog nicely. This genre/style of music can be sometimes met with a lack of seriousness among listeners, but you can tell the group have a genuine passion for their tunes.
Recommended for the club-holiday lovers, with a side for serious electronic music.
