Overview
Sam Fender releases his third album, solidifying his reputation as a compelling voice in Modern Rock. Drawing plenty of inspiration from his North Shields roots, Fender offers a collection of tracks that blend personal narratives with his signature touch of broader social commentary. There’s no shortage of emotional depth here, and he has crafted a sound that modernises something that has almost become synonymous with him. This album undoubtedly showcases his growth as an artist, delivering poignant storytelling and a rich musical soundscape that will no doubt resonate with listeners. Although, the songs feel weaker than those on its predecessor - still, this is an album that many will enjoy, and with production help from Adam Granduciel of The War on Drugs, Fender’s sound has been refined to create a Modern Heartland Rock standout.
Recommended for emotional and societally aware Modern Rock listeners.

Is Sam Fender watching these people? Is the person on the left watching the rest of them? Am I watching them? Someone is watching these people, but the image isn’t stimulating enough for me to bother figuring it out. Still, it’s a somewhat nice image.
