Overview
Before listening to UGLY, I was concerned that Slowthai’s third album would be lacking refreshing ideas, but this is certainly not the case here. The album provides a fantastic selection of songs and is strengthened by Slowthai’s brutal performance throughout. This is a raw album that is mirrored by his live performances, something that is hard to come by anymore. A noisy and angry album, it might deter some listeners, but to Slowthai fans and anyone into Rock/Punk/Rap, this is definitely an album to enjoy.
