Overview
At the time of Oceania’s release, this was the best thing Pumpkins had put out in years. Some of the band were back together (I think), Billy had unearthed some incredible guitar riffs, and the overall production of the album is top tier. It looked like the beginning of a wonderful new era with Oceania supposedly being part of a 3 album series.. this was eventually not the case. Nether the less, this album is amazing, and although we still didn’t hear the raspy Correll voice from the Pumpkins prime that we know and love, this album is completely worth every listen.
