Overview
Tyler has created a vivid tapestry of contrasting moods, all tied together in an album that bulges at the seams yet remains completely cohesive throughout. In the lyrical content, it’s classic Tyler - verses as raw as his early releases - but he seamlessly shifts to tones of introspection and vulnerability. That ability, to lurch from one sound to another, allows songs to evolve dramatically within just a few minutes while maintaining a harmonious flow - its very impressive and allows for a record to feel thicker than its already large 14-track amount. This album has something for everyone, showcasing Tyler at perhaps his most artistically ambitious yet.
Recommended for Neo-Soul and Tyler fans looking for the perfect balance between raw and introspection.

The album features the protagonist, ‘St. Chroma’, who is essentially Tyler in a mask. It has the feel of an old ’50s Jazz album cover, aligning with the Neo-Soul and Jazz-like styling of some of the music. It’s slightly creepy yet artistically perfect - an intriguing and striking cover.
