Overview
For me, this is Frusciante’s rawest record from his collection. The guitar throughout carries an angry garage tone which sets well under the heavy-hitting (and sometimes tender) vocal harmonies. It’s powerful and yet soothing at moments - there may not be many standout songs whilst listening, but this is a unique Frusciante record with emotionally heavy qualities.
